Who are we? We are not Google - we are much, MUCH smaller. We are actually a group of mapping enthusiasts (with an artistic bend) - who enjoy creating tracks wherever we go, and hidden in some of these tracks are pearls.
Sure you can use one of the conglomerates’ large maps to travel around, but what about finding the trail-head for a secluded hot spring in Iceland, or the trail for a Gangotri-Gomukh trek in Himalayas, or you want to cross the river - but where is it narrowest/ shallowest with a tree bridge? How does the vista present (and where is the spot to see it) on a drive in Taiwanese mountains?
How do you find the best elevation facing north in Fairbanks, unencumbered with city lights - to watch Aurora ?
And then there may be accompanied photographs or a quickly scrawled sketch,a watercolor or a brief description to go along.
